I just ordered this DVD. I really hope he doesn’t say “You know” as much on there as he does on here.
why he didn“t play stream of consciousness. if he did it i would bought it.
I cant stand John Petrucci’s playing. Just scale running bullocks non stop.
which guitar is andy james using in the video???
how did andy get that killer clean tone at :50 sec????
God he is ridiculously clean. I ENVY HIM.
What string gauge does Andy use when he is dropped to C standard? Thx!
Oh, I want Stream of Counsciousness
You know the backing tracks are great, because the band followed the DT tradition of having the bassist and guitarist share the same first name!
The next G3: Andy James, Guthrie Govan, and Marco Sfogli!
DONT YOU GUYS THINK ANDY SHOULD BE PART OF G3?
I have that guitar at the beginning.
i buried the whole Dream Theater discography in a lead lined time capsule and buried it 12 foot deep…. cos if humans kill ourselves im sure the aliens will appreciate it…. seriously.. best band.. haha and im not usually so subjective haha
WHAT THE MUSICS IN ORDER?
@shaqdaddy11 You can hack the region code software on your DVD player fairly easily, and if you connect to the TV via SCART or HDMI I don’t believe the picture format is an issue (I play NTSC stuff in the UK with no problems).
@SpawntheFuries Yeah it’s MH-1000

@bibiacos Hi there Well Jam With’s teach you the highlights of the songs so you’ll learn everything you need to know to go out and perform the track, you also get backing tracks with the Jam With dvds. With Learn To Play dvds this is a complete breakdown of all guitar parts of the songs. There are backing tracks for these but they are purchased separetly to the DVD. Hope that helps?
what is the difference between jam dvd with those of learn to play like…. , both teach the songs note for note??, sorry for my english.
