Mate Bodor ICMP guitar scholarship final piece (Medley)
I played this song at The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance’s (GuItar Institute) Yamaha guitar scholarship final in London. I finaly got the partial scholarship!!! 
It’s just a show of what I can do! Not a real song I played different styles in 5 minutes. Metal rythm, blues improvisation, some jazz parts, acoustic soloing, metal shred and arpeggios. www.myspace.com/matebodor www.bodormate.com

Emotion goes hand in hand with the electric guitar and every other instrument for that matter. it doesn’t matter how good your runs are or your fills whichever your instrument if you don’t have the human element to your playing it sounds over rehearsed,joyless and not entertaining. the guy in the video is obviously good…but he does not possess any emotion in his playing he may love playing but his fingers suggest a guy who’s spent too long learning modes and not enough on bending with emotion.
@AlternateDiscord you are right but I was referring to those blue purists who think guitar is about making constipated-looking faces and bending notes on the pentatonic scale.
@TheSyuFan Wrong way to look at it if you ask me, a good player has emotion and speed. I donno, I don’t see anything wrong with this guys playing ‘cept his tone.

@Kiscsirkesz Miért lenne nagy az egója? Azért mert jól gitározik? Megérdemelte hogy bekerült az ICMP-re és ahogy láttam a legutóbbi videóját nagyon sokat fejlődött!
